Description

On the nose, the wine shows aromas of Williams pear, mountain herbs and nutmeg, together with tropical notes of mango and papaya and a light hint of vanilla.

On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich and creamy, with light smoky and flinty notes. The finish is long, with fine nutty and slightly earthy notes.

The wine was aged for 12 months in 500-litre wooden barrels. Spontaneous fermentation and long contact with the lees give the wine a powerful, well-balanced character with good ageing potential.
